About the event
The Haecksen are planning a three-day gathering from July 4 to 6, 2025, the 1st Chaos Feminist Convention – by Haecksen for Haecksen and all beings who want to design an inclusive, just and creative society with us.
What awaits you?
What could a just, diverse, and solidarity-based world look like? What does technological development mean in a society shaped by queer-feminist values? How can we jointly design and apply technologies that support a just and diverse society? Under the motto “Utopia Test Environment,” we invite you to develop creative solutions and design utopian concepts for a discrimination-free, digital future.
Utopia Test Environment
Utopias open up spaces beyond the existing. They give us the opportunity to think new things and unlock potential. Especially in a technological world often characterized by exclusion and marginalization, we want to create utopian perspectives that combine technological and social innovation.
Motivation and formats
With our new conference, we aim to embrace ideas and practices of community building to create spaces of diversity and mutual support with a queer-feminist perspective. To this end, we plan to offer curated formats such as:
- Lectures (30-45 minutes + optional Q&A)
- Workshops / interactive sessions
- Panel discussions
- Digital and analog exhibits, art projects, and performances
There will also be room for spontaneity in the form of self-organized sessions, as well as the opportunity to experience the “fun of the device.”
