{"id":3025,"date":"2025-06-14T05:02:42","date_gmt":"2025-06-14T05:02:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.haecksen.org\/?page_id=3025"},"modified":"2025-06-24T15:59:40","modified_gmt":"2025-06-24T15:59:40","slug":"cfc25-meeting-guidelines","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.haecksen.org\/en\/cfc25-meeting-guidelines\/","title":{"rendered":"cfc25 &#8211; Meeting Guidelines"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>To ensure a pleasant experience for all participants in the remote part of cfc25, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.haecksen.org\/en\/coc\/\">the general CoC<\/a> <strong>also<\/strong> applies to all remote and hybrid events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Awareness Team is available to remote participants and can be reached through:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>email: <a href=\"mailto:cfc_awareness@systemli.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cfc_awareness@systemli.org<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The remote part of cfc primarily takes place in BBB rooms. The following additional points apply:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Chat and general communication<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The public chat should not be used for off-topic or private conversations due to readability reasons<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>On-topic discussions should be moved to the &#8220;session chat&#8221; (likely an IRC) and only communicate in the public BBB chat what should be conveyed to the speaker<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Private conversations can use DMs available in BBB rooms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Camera<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Viewers&#8217; cameras should not be turned on due to limited resources in the video conferencing system<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Microphone<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The microphone can only be turned on for speaking after instruction from the moderation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The microphone should not be turned on without being prompted. If you want to speak, signal the moderation by &#8220;raising your hand&#8221;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A headset or streaming microphone should be used if possible<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the audio quality is too poor (strong background noise, crackling etc.), the moderation can decide that a microphone must remain turned off<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Recordings<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Recordings (video, audio, chat, screenshots etc.) are generally not allowed to protect the rights of participants and presenters<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Exceptions may apply to individual chat messages, such as shared links, if explicitly communicated as savable<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Saving received direct messages is only allowed with the explicit consent of the other person<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In cases of harassing or discriminatory behavior, relevant parts of public and private chats may be forwarded to the Awareness Team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>In case of violations, we reserve the right to remove you from the event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>To ensure a pleasant experience for all participants in the remote part of cfc25, the general CoC also applies to all remote and hybrid events.
