We are a group for technicians, hackers, makers, scientists, artists, activists in the hacker scene and those who want to be part of it. We consider ourselves queer-inclusive and we are feminist – in STEM professions as well as in the hacker scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Haecksen were founded in 1988 by Rena Tangens<\/a> and Barbara Thoens. Since then, we have evolved to become FINTA-inclusive as of summer 2021 and FLINTA-inclusive as of 2024.
